CrimeaSOS “legal hotline” specialists received 3,043 appeals

CrimeaSOS “legal hotline” has been operating since April 2022. During this time, specialists received 3,043 appeals. Most often, they related to issues of administrative services, social benefits and establishing legal facts of birth and death.
The CrimeaSOS lawyer explained how the adoption of Law #9069 would allow to regulate the mechanism of confirmation of facts of birth, death and marriage in the temporarily occupied territories (TOT). According to Article 17 of this law, units of the State Registration of Civil Status Acts and diplomatic missions of Ukraine abroad would be able to register the facts of birth, death or marriage on the basis of documents issued in the occupied territories.
