NGO CrimeaSOS will take part in the “Festival of Thoughts 2023”, which will be held on September 30 at the National Museum of the History of Ukraine in the Second World War.
As part of the event, there will be a meeting-discussion “Let’s get ours back! What steps are necessary for the reintegration of the de-occupied territories?”. The discussion was prepared by the Coalition of NGOs dealing with issues of protection of the rights of victims of armed aggression against Ukraine, which includes CrimeaSOS.
During the meeting, experts will discuss the challenges that await the state after the de-occupation of the territories. Representatives of the Coalition will talk about the peculiarities of the realities of life after the liberation of settlements in various areas: from education to lustration processes, restoration of the health care system, etc.
In particular, CrimeaSOS advocacy manager Anna Rassamakhina will talk about the issues of documents received in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, the state policy regarding their legitimization, regulations that must be developed and adopted to resolve these issues.
Participants in the discussion:
- Anna Rassamakhina – NGO “CrimeaSOS”;
- Violeta Artemchuk – NGO “Donbas SOS”;
- Yuliia Matviichuk – CF “Vostok SOS”.
The moderator of the meeting is Oleksandra Dvoretska, adviser to the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Human Rights and co-founder of Vostok SOS Charitable Foundation.
We also prepared a survey on the necessary steps for the reintegration of the occupied territories. Please answer several questions related to the reintegration of (de)occupied territories.
