CrimeaSOS: ideology about the security of Crimea does not work even for the russian population of the peninsula

According to CrimeaSOS analyst Yevhenii Yaroshenko, due to the increase in the number of explosions, the ideology of the security of Crimea does not work even for the russian population of the peninsula. He told about this in a comment to Suspilne.
“The ideology that Crimea is not threatened by anything no longer works even for the russian part of the population. As the number of explosions in Crimea increases, it becomes more difficult for the occupation authorities to convince Crimeans that the situation is under control. After the repeated attack on the Kerch bridge, there are explosions in Crimea almost every day”, — Yevhenii Yaroshenko noted.
The occupying administration of the peninsula, as a rule, keeps silent about the incidents and consequences of the explosions. Therefore, the local population does not understand what exactly is happening in Crimea – the work of air defence, training or hitting. Syrens are rarely heard on the peninsula; in some places cars with loudspeakers drive and announce air strike alarm.
At the same time, russia as an occupying power has a number of obligations under international humanitarian law to ensure the safety of the civilian population.
“The parties should avoid placing military facilities in populated areas. The civilian population should also be removed from areas located near military facilities. As reality shows, the occupiers ignore this provision of international humanitarian law”, — the analyst adds.
Since the beginning of the summer of 2023, the number of explosions in Crimea has increased significantly. After the second one on July 17, residents of the peninsula hear explosions almost every day.
