CrimeaSOS “legal hotline” received 2,155 appeals

2,155 appeals were received by CrimeaSOS “legal hotline” specialists, said Anastasiia Kalinina, the lawyer of CrimeaSOS.
“CrimeaSOS “legal hotline” specialists receive requests from citizens of Ukraine, who want to leave the occupied territories, in particular, zones of active hostilities. So far, lawyers have received about 500 such appeals. In these cases, we advise them to leave through the third countries with a special regime”, — explained Anastasiia Kalinina.
When planning the route, we suggest using the information from the interactive map of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. The countries with a special entry regime for citizens of Ukraine are marked blue on the map.
“Each of the countries has a prescribed regime for crossing the border if the foreign passport is missing or after it has expired, etc. In addition, information on assistance centres for the temporarily displaced citizens of Ukraine, social security, medical assistance, and the need to obtain temporary protection or acquire refugee status is specified in the information for each country”, — the lawyer added.
We shall remind you that the residents of the occupied territories who left to the third countries can remotely obtain a certificate for returning to Ukraine.
