The occupiers will continue searches in Crimea until they find the “culprits” in the damage to the railway at the end of February. Oleksii Tilnenko, Head of the Board of CrimeaSOS, told about this.

“Today, russian security forces carried out new searches in the houses of Crimean Tatars, who are suspected of having damaged the railways on February 23. According to our observations, the occupiers will continue their arbitrary searches until they find someone to “pin” the charges on”, — believes Oleksii Tilnenko.

On March 23, russian security forces carried out two more searches in the homes of Crimean Tatars. The searches took place in the city of Bakhchysarai. The first was in the house of Mustafa Mustafaiev, the delegate of Kurultai of the Crimean Tatar people. He and his son were taken to the FSB building in Simferopol.

The second search was conducted in the house of Mustafaiev’s neighbor, Shevket Erhashev, a Crimean Tatar. He was also taken to the FSB building.
The men are suspected of damaging the railway in the Bakhchysarai area of the temporarily occupied Crimea on February 23. After the event, the peninsula was shaken by a new wave of mass searches in the homes of Crimean Tatars in different areas of the peninsula.  In the course of two weeks, 7 searches took place in Crimea with the aim of intimidating the Crimean Tatars.
