In 2023, internally displaced persons (IDPs) received aid from CrimeaSOS in the amount of over UAH 638 thousand. Olha Shkarupa, CrimeaSOS manager in the social sphere, told about this.
“Within the framework of the project supported by the UNHCR, NGO CrimeaSOS purchased 264 units of goods for IDPs worth UAH 638,852. In the first three months of 2023, internally displaced persons received assistance in shelters in the Volyn region”, — said Olha Shkarupa.
The purchased items include furniture and household appliances, which should significantly improve the conditions of IDPs in places of temporary stay.
Aid to IDPs is provided by CrimeaSOS within the framework of the project “Strengthening IDP communities in the central and western regions of Ukraine”. The project is implemented with the financial support of the Office of the High Commissioner for Refugees of the United Nations (UNHCR).
