SITUATION REPORT: CRIMEA 2023. The second year of the full-scale war
21 / 02 / 2024- Defence forces of Ukraine hit at least 35 military objects in Crimea.
- At least 542 killed russian soldiers were from occupied Crimea.
- 4500 Crimean residents were planned to be conscripted into the occupation army.
- Human rights activists counted at least 58 arbitrary searches in Crimea, 42 of which were in the houses of Crimean Tatars.
- The occupants initiated new politically motivated criminal cases against at least 51 persons.
- 5 Crimean political prisoners were released.
- At least 43 persons were convicted in politically motivated criminal cases.
- The occupants added about 7000 residents of Crimea to the lists of the “unreliable”.
- At least 40 Crimean political prisoners were transferred to penitentiary institutions on the territory of russia.
- 2 Crimean political prisoners died in penitentiary institutions.
- 20 Crimean political prisoners need urgent medical care.
- It is known about 376 court resolutions on bringing to administrative liability for discrediting the russian army.
- Security forces arbitrarily detained 71 persons near the occupation courts; 50 of them were punished with several days of administrative arrest.
- The Prosecutor General’s Office of the russian federation recognized CrimeaSOS an “undesirable” organization.
- It is known about at least 7 camps where Ukrainian children taken from the newly occupied territories were kept.
- The occupants requisitioned at least 7 medical facilities for the needs of the wounded russian soldiers.
- The occupation administration “nationalized” about 700 property objects.
