The Cabinet of Ministers is changing the procedure for disbursing funds to displaced persons
12 / 07 / 2023On July 11, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted the resolution “Some issues of support for internally displaced persons”. Changes are being made to the procedure for paying cash assistance to internally displaced persons (IDPs).
In particular, on August 1, 2023, payments to those IDPs who are currently receiving assistance and are in Ukraine will be extended for six months (until the end of January 2024). The assistance remains in the amount of UAH 3,000 for persons with disabilities and UAH 2,000 for other persons. Continuation of payments will occur automatically from August 1.
At the same time, on September 1 of this year, payments will stop to those IDPs who, in the period from July 11, 2023:
- purchased a new vehicle (less than 5 years have passed since the year of manufacture);
- purchased a land plot, apartment, house for more than UAH 100,000 (except for housing received at the expense of the state or local budget);
- have funds in a deposit bank account totalling more than UAH 100,000, etc.
