Russian Authorities Added the Detained Couple of Volunteers to the “List of Terrorists”

People who appear on this list can not be employed, borrow money from banks; their bank transactions and bank accounts get blocked.
As we reported earlier, a Russian citizen Ruzil Yapparov and a Ukrainian citizen from Feodosia Latifa (Nina) Malakhova have been detained on February 14, 2021, in Tatarstan. That same day they were brought to Crimea by plane together with their newborn daughter. According to the Russia-controlled “Crimean FSB bureau,” between 2015 and 2018, the couple sponsored several funds that are forbidden in Russia. The detained claim they have never been involved in the financing of terrorism but donated money for the construction of mosques and water wells in countries of Africa.
On February 15, 2021, the Russia-controlled “Kyiv district court” of Simferopol sent Ruzil Yapparov to the detention center. His wife, Latifa (Nina) Malakhova, was convicted to home arrest for 1 month and 26 days.
