2,575 appeals were received by CrimeaSOS “legal hotline” specialists. CrimeaSOS lawyer Anastasiia Kalinina reported about this.

“Since April last year, CrimeaSOS “legal hotline” specialists have received 2,575 appeals from war victims. 30% of all calls are questions about the provision of administrative services, in particular, domestic and foreign passports”, —Anastasiia Kalinina said.

On March 7, 2023, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted changes according to which one of the parents can simultaneously issue an ID card and a foreign passport, as well as a foreign passport for their child/children under 14 years old. From now on, to process these documents, it is enough to visit and submit an application once to one of the divisions of the State Migration Service, “Passport Service” or the Centre for the Provision of Administrative Services.

In the event that the child, for whom a foreign passport is issued, has reached the age of 12, his/her presence during the submission of documents is mandatory.

We would like to remind you that changes to the resolution enter into force 35 days after their publication.
