CrimeaSOS “legal hotline” received 2,610 appeals

2,610 appeals were received by CrimeaSOS “legal hotline” specialists. CrimeaSOS lawyer Anastasiia Kalinina told us about this.
“During almost a year of operation of the “legal hotline”, CrimeaSOS specialists received 2,610 appeals. People are most concerned about administrative services, in particular, the issuance of domestic and foreign passports of citizens of Ukraine. They make up more than 30% of all appeals”, — said Anastasiia Kalinina.
Recently, the State Migration Service of Ukraine clarified whether it is necessary to reissue the foreign passport in case of difference in transliteration in the documents. The foreign passport will have to be replaced over time if the transliteration in Latin letters in the document differs from the ID card. Documents are valid until the expiration date or until a person applies for an exchange in person.
