CrimeaSOS: workers of the occupation police began visiting the graduates of Crimean universities
5 / 09 / 2023CrimeaSOS has learned that occupation police officers have started visiting the homes of graduates of Crimean universities. We mean young man who did not appear at the military commissariat after finishing higher educational institutions.
One such case took place on September 4. The occupation police came to the home of a graduate of a Crimean University. This was explained by the fact that the military commissariat made a request to the police due to the fact that the man did not appear there after completing his studies.
CrimeaSOS is aware that this is not an isolated case. Workers of the occupation police come to homes and work places of university graduates.
We remind you that in some cities of the temporarily occupied Crimea, representatives of military commissars issue conscription notices at the exits of mosques. This happens on Fridays, when many Muslims visit mosques for prayer.
During the years of occupation of Crimea, the russian federation has illegally conducted 16 conscription campaigns in Crimea, despite the fact that the conscription of residents of the occupied territories into the ranks of the occupying army is prohibited by Art. 51 of the IV Geneva Convention and is a war crime. Forcing citizens of Ukraine to participate in hostilities against their own state is a separate war crime.
