CrimeaSOS: most calls to the hotline in 2024 were related to administrative services
18 / 04 / 2025
Over the past year, the CrimeaSOS hotline has received over two thousand requests from people affected by russian aggression. Most of them concerned administrative services.
“Mostly, consultations were provided on obtaining certificates from state bodies, in particular obtaining certificates from the state registers (the State Register of Civil Status Acts of Citizens, the Unified State Demographic Register, the State Register of Property Rights to Real Property, the tax service, and others). There were also many requests regarding social payments for IDPs, establishing the fact of birth or death in the occupied territories”, — the CrimeaSOS hotline team stated.
Other popular questions related to border crossing, pension processing, obtaining a Ukrainian passport after the age of 18, assigning an identification number, access to education, etc.
“Despite the fact that it is the eleventh year the war lasts, the need for legal support remains undiminished. The problems of people from the occupied territories remain acute. At the same time, both internally displaced persons and those who have left abroad continue to face numerous barriers — in accessing rights, documents, housing, and protection”, — the CrimeaSOS team added.
Let us remind you that in 2023, the CrimeaSOS legal hotline received 2,262 appeals.
