11,303 people registered to receive financial assistance from UNHCR

11,303 IDPs were registered by CrimeaSOS coordinators and volunteers in Lviv and Vinnytsia, according to the Chairman of the Board of CrimeaSOS Denis Savchenko.
“We are one of the partner organizations in the emergency financial assistance program from the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). For the last 3 weeks we have been collecting applications in Lviv and Vinnytsia. This week we will open additional locations in Ivano-Frankivsk and Ternopil,” said Denys Savchenko.

In addition to financial assistance, UNHCR in partnership with CrimeaSOS provides re-settlement assistance for IDPs.
In the Ternopil region we purchased 500 beds, mattresses, pillows and blankets worth UAH 2.6 million. And for settlers in the Volyn region we sourced household items worth UAH 990,000.
