Mass detention of Crimean Tatar activists protesting against the persecution of Muslims in Crimea took place
in Moscow. Courts controlled by the Russian Federation continue to unreasonably impose fines on Crimeans.
The occupying authorities of the Russian Federation persecutes residents of Crimea, who for political reasons
refuse to serve in the army. Members of the public emphasize on increase of the number of arrests. Memorial
recognized persons accused under the 1st Simferopol “Hizb ut-Tahrir case" as political prisoners.
