More than 4 thousand Ukrainian orphans are illegaly transferred from occupied Crimea to different regions of Russia after the annexation of the peninsula. The representative of the Ombudsman of Ukraine Oksana Filipishina told it on the air with "Hromadske radio".
"So-called "trains of happiness", where the prospective adoptive parents were, but, as it turned out later, the children were not given away for adoption, but to the so-called foster families, where is foster care. All notes, even from the Ukrainian government, just hang in the air, as they are not responsed. And, of course, we get the answers, that Crimea is the territory of Russia, these are our children, and that variety of forms of education is purely a matter of Russia", – Filipishina said.
Referring to monitoring data of the Office of the Ukrainian Ombudsman, she also reported that orphans and children deprived of parental care from Crimea, are forcibly converted Ukrainian documents to Russian ones. "No one asked children", – she added.
Filipishina noted that before the end of the year Crimean-educate pupils will be fully under the Russian standards and, therefore, they will not have guaranteed by Ukraine access to language learning and assimilation of the overall program.
