On May 27, 2016 the European Court of Human Rights accepted for consideration the complaint of JSC "Feodosia shipbuilding company "Morye" on a violation of company’s rights as a result of illegal nationalization of its property in the territory of Crimea.
A law firm "Ilyashev and Partners", which prepared the complaint, reports it.
As it is noted in the company, ECHR for the first time will consider essentially the legality of interference in property rights on the assets of FSC "Morye" of the self-proclaimed authorities of Crimea without compensation of their value, as well as violation of the right to fair trial.
Let us recall that the "State Council" of Crimea transferred all movable and immovable property of FSC "Morye", located on the territory of the peninsula, in its property in 2014.
Later, FSC "Morye" was transferred to the Russian federal property by order of the Chairman of Russian Federation Government.
The shipbuilding company is specialized in military and civil shipbuilding, in particular, producing of military and civilian boats, hydrofoils of light alloys, hovercrafts.
