Military Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine handed over suspicion to commander of Russian Black Sea Fleet

Vice-Admiral Oleksandr Vitko is accused of committing a series of very serious crimes against Ukraine.

Chief Military Prosecutor's Office handed over suspicion to the commander of Russian Black Sea Fleet Vice-Admiral Oleksandr Vitko of committing especially grave crimes against Ukraine, the press service of the GPU reports.

The suspicion was handed over officially by the international mail and messenger service at the location of Vitko in Sevastopol on the 18th of April.

Commander of the Black Sea Fleet of Armed Forces of the Russian Federation is suspected of committing criminal acts in order to change the boundaries of the territory and the state border of Ukraine, namely, solicitation to commit high treason; organizing actions aimed at damage of objects that have defense importance; planning, preparing and taking part in waging an aggressive war against Ukraine (Part 3 of Article 110; Part 4 of Article 27, Part 1, Article 111; Part 3, Article 27, Article 113; Part 2 of Article 28, р. 1, 2, Article 437 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) in a period since February 20th, 2014 till March 21st, 2014.
