On July 18th FSB department in Simferopol summoned for questioning activist of Ukrainian cultural center in Crimea Leonid Kuzmin, Krym.Realii reportes.
"The interrogation lasted 1.5 hours. I can not tell the details, because I have a gag order. I can only say that the topic of our conversation was my public activity in Ukrainian cultural center", – Kuzmin said.
According to the activist, he was not informed for what purpose the questioning was held for.
"Maybe it can be another call. Till now they did not say, within which framework and in what way they speak with me. Because there is no case, nothing. I not say that it is a necessary measure", – Kuzmin said.
The activist was detained earlier in the rally in memory of Ukrainian poet Taras Shevchenko in Simferopol.
Ukrainian Cultural Center in Crimea was established after the occupation of the peninsula by Russian Federation. The purpose of the center is to preserve the language and culture of Ukrainian people.
