Membership of Deputy Chairman of Mejlis Eider Adzhimambetov, the Mufti of Crimea Emirali Ablaev, the new Russian «civil servant» Ruslan Yakubov suspended because of participation in political activities organized by the occupation authorities in Crimea.

By the decision of the Mejlis of Crimean Tatar people Mejlis membership of three its members – Deputy Chairman of the Mejlis Eider Adzhimambetov, the Mufti of Crimea Emirali Ablaev, the new Russian "civil servant" Ruslan Yakubov – suspended, QHA reports.

The reason is the participation in political activities organized by the occupation authorities (elections, meetings, rallies, agitation, etc.) in Crimea, as well as statements and comments in the media, incompatible with the status of the delegate of Kurultai of the Crimean Tatar people.

In addition, the decision to relieve Eider Adzhimambetov of his duty of Deputy Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people was made. Adzhimambetov failed at his duties of Deputy Chairman of the Mejlis, and was the author of a number of statements and comments that are incompatible with the status of the delegate of Kurultai of the Crimean Tatar people.

Membership in Mejlis of Mufti of Crimea Emirali Ablaev was also suspended for taking part in political activities organized by the occupation authorities. Mufti of Crimea, who has recently declared himself the spiritual leader, did not participate in the protection of Muslims persecuted by occupation authorities, remained silent to the facts of illegal searches in mosques, ban on Crimean Tatars peaceful meetings and rallies.

In addition, Emirali Ablaev appeared in several media with the statements, incompatible with the status of the delegate of Kurultai of the Crimean Tatar people.

Membership in Mejlis is suspended for Ruslan Yakubov, who works in the executive bodies in Crimea and takes part in political activities of the occupation authorities, and made the statements that are incompatible with the status of the delegate of Kurultai of the Crimean Tatar people.

According to regulations of the Kurultai, the decision of removing from the Mejlis is adopted at the regular session of the Kurultai of the Crimean Tatar people.

Let us remind that the Majlis is a single higher-authorized representative executive body of the Crimean Tatar people, elected by the Kurultai of the number of its delegates.
