Russian security forces conduct search operations in 7 locations in Crimea and Sevastopol at the same time, as part of a criminal investigation into the extremism case opened against a journalist of Ukrainian edition «Krym.Realii», Kryminform reports.
«The searches are made in five locations in Simferopol, one – in Yalta, and one in Sevastopol», – the source of publication informs.
Besides Mykola Semena, security forces conducted searchs of houses of Ruslana Liumanova and photojournalist Leniara Abibulaeva, Crimean lawyer Emil Kurbedinov said on his Facebook page.
«Search operations in Crimea. Today, 19.04.2016, search operations were conducted. Mykola Mikhailovich Semena. Ruslana Lyumanova. Leniara Abibulaeva. Human rights activists. They all were called in for questioning. I attribute these detentions to their active citizenship on some issues», — Kurbedinov wrote.
Press-service of «Procuracy» of Crimea confirms that computer equipment of «Krym.Realii» employees in Yalta and Simferopol is confiscated.
Let us recall, today Russian «prosecutor» of Crimea Natalia Poklonska announced opening of a criminal case against the journalist of «Krym.Realii» edition for calls to violate the territorial integrity of the Russian Federation.
