Today North Causasus military district court in Rostov, Russia, has reached a verdict for Ukrainian film maker Oleg Sentsov and activist Olexandr Kolchenko. Sentsov was sentenced to 20 years in a high-security prison, while Kolchenko is to spend 10 years behind bars.
Ukrainian activists were found guilty of organizing and preparing acts of terrorism, illegal possession of weapons and ammo.
After the verdict, when judged asked them whether they understand the verdict, Sentsov and Kolchenko started singing the national anthem of Ukraine.
