26 bodies of Russian marines have been brought from Syria to Sevastopol, reports Chief Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.
“26 bodies of fallen soldiers of 810th Marine Brigade (Sevastopol) of Coastal Defence Troops of Black Sea Fleet have been delivered from Syria,” wrote the intelligence services in its statement.
Chief Directorate of Intelligence also claims that due to the inability of Russian command to provide satisfactory sanitary conditions there are mass cases of infectious diseases among Russian soldiers in Syria.
Russian troops supported by Military Space Forces are continuing to advance in Aleppo, Damascus, Lattakia, Hama and Homs provinces and have established control over a number of settlements in Aleppo region.
During the last 24 hours Russian air forces have conducted 33 air missions and bombed 49 targets in Syria.
