President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko commented on the statement of the Russian side on the participation of Ukrainian troops in preparation of terrorist acts on the territory of occupied Crimea.
"Charges of the Russian side Ukraine of terrorism in occupied Crimea are the same meaningless and cynical as the statements of the Russian leadership about the absence of Russian troops in Donbas. These fantasies are only a pretext for the next military threats to Ukraine's address", — it is said in a statement of the president of Ukraine issued on its website.
The Head of State noted that Ukraine does not accept the use of any terrorist measures for de-occupation of Crimea.
The president recalled that Russia is finances and supportes terrorism on the territory of Ukraine, raising it to the level of their public policy — both in the occupied areas of Donbas, and in annexed Crimea.
Poroshenko urged the Russian leadership to focus on the observance of fundamental rules of international law, and expects that Russia will provide the implementation of aspects of the Minsk agreements in the field of security, including using mechanisms of Normandy format.
