October 24. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the Chargé d'affaires Mohammad Sabah Al Haj Bakri in connection with the statements of Syria's parliament speaker on ownership of the occupied Crimea.
On October 19 speaker of the Syrian parliament Hadi Abbas, in an interview with the International Russian edition "Sputnik" said the annexed Crimea is part of Russia.
October 25. The leader of the presidential race of Moldova, chairman of the Party of Socialists, Igor Dodon, on the eve of elections to be held on 30 October, said that Crimea belongs to Russia.
October 26. In Crimea, Bakhchisarai district "court" fined Mejlis member Dilyaver Akiev. "Court" sentenced him to a fine of 500 rubles for participation in the "prohibited meeting" of Mejlis.
Previously, "Bakhchisarai district court" found guilty of an administrative violation other Mejlis members and imposed them a penalty. Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights Valeria Lutkovska asked the Russian Ombudsman Tatiana Moskalkova to intervene in the situation with the transfer of Ukrainian political prisoners, Crimeans Oleg Sentsov and Oleksandr Kolchenko to Ukraine and to verify the legal grounds for the acquisition of Russian citizenship.
Lutkovska sent to the address of Moskalkova letter concerning the forced acquiring citizenship of the Russian Federation to citizens of Ukraine, who were living in Crimea during the annexation, and could not appeal to the Migration Service within the prescribed time limit to renounce Russian citizenship, and also because they were in places of detention at that time.
October 27. Ukraine wants Russian airlines to pay fines in the amount of 721.2 million hryvnia (about $ 28.2 million) for flights to Crimea. Russian airlines continue to ignore the legal proceedings opened against them.
