Ukraine to hold shooting practice with anti-aircraft missile systems ‘Buk’ at administrative border with Crimea

Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense plans to hold the shooting practice with the anti-aircraft missile system BUK-1 in Kherson region, close to the administrative border with the Crimea. Representative of the defense establishment Dmytro Huculiak has stated this, RIA Novosti informs.

The shooting practice will take place at the “Yahorlik” firing ground, Huculiak has clarified. Herein, he hasn’t specified the date of holding the shootings.

Apart from the above, the Ukrainian formations armed with the anti-aircraft missile systems S-300 will take part in the multi-national exercise Saber Guardian – 2017 at the “Shabla” firing ground in Bulgaria. Combat shootings are included thereof, the representative of the Ministry of Defense has added.

Important to note, in early December Ukraine held the try-outs of the anti-aircraft medium-range missiles S-300, in close proximity to the border with the Crimea.
