The two Russian border guards, detained at the administrative border with the occupied Crimea, were served with charges with infringement upon the territorial integrity of Ukraine. This was reported on the SBU official website.
«The Russian border guards who were fulfilling tasks in the interests of the Russian Federation to the detriment of Ukraine, were served with charges with having committed a crime under Part 2 of Article 110 (infringement upon the territorial integrity and impunity of Ukraine) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, by the investigators of the SBU Administration in Kherson region. The two citizens of the Russian Federation were detained at the territory of Kherson region on June 30», – stated in the message.
Important to note, the Russian border guards were detained on June 30 at the administrative border with the Crimea. Later on, the State Frontier Service stated that the officers of the Russian FSB’s borderline service had sent a request to provide the information about the two detained Russian military men.
