Defendant in the Sevastopol «Hizb ut-Tahrir case» Ruslan Zeitullayev has announced another indefinite hunger strike. Lawyer Emil Kurbedinov has informed this on his Facebook page.
The lawyer writes that he and his colleague Edem Semedlyayev visited Zeitullayev in the remand prison #1 in Rostov-on-Don.
According to Kurbedinov, the political prisoner «is holding on great,feels determined and decisive», Ruslan Zeitullayev’s health condition got back to normal.
«Also, Ruslan has started another indefinite hunger-strike as a sign of protest against the sentence and the repression against Crimean Tatars,Muslims and civil activists. The representatives of the Ukraiunian Consulate still cannot get access to him! They have been prevented from seeing Ruslan under various made-up excuses! Ruslan initiates the procedure of renunciation of the Russian citizenship», – Kurbedinov noted.
The lawyer added that Ruslan Zeitullayev thanked «all the non-indifferent people and those who don’t stay aside, by word or deed».
Important to note, on April 4, defendant in the Sevastopol «Hizb ut-Tahrir case», Crimean Tatar Ruslan Zeitullayev announced an indefinite hunger-strike, which lasted for 21 days.
