Balukh's sister Nadiya was reported on that by the colony administration today, on April 9, as the Crimean human rights group reports.
"Again they refused to accept the package with food and clothes, arguing that while the prisoner was in the isolation ward, the package and the meeting were not allowed to him. In the prison, prisoners are kept in strict conditions on bread and water," the message says.
Human rights activists recalled that on April 8, Volodymyr Balukh's sister Nadiya was unable to transfer food and clothes to her brother in the colony No.4 of Torzhok.
The refusal of the colony administration argued that "Monday is not a reception day." At the same time, on April 8, the colony did not confirm the information that Balukh was held in the solitary.
