CrimeaSOS presented the documentary "Mustafa" at Berlinale

On February 12th and 14th CrimeaSOS presented documentary “Mustafa” at European Film Market of 67th Berlin international cinema festifal. The film was presented by producer Tamila Tasheva and director Ahmed Sarykhalil.

The film was presented at European Film Market, which is the part of 67th Berlin International Film Festival. The documentary joined six Ukrainian movies, which were presented at Ukrainian Film Corner "Ukraine is Your Destination" at Berlinale.

This year there were 9 550 participants and 192 stands from 108 countries at European Film Market. By the way, active participants of the festival donated money on refugees needs. 17 500 EUR became the result of such activity during 11 days of the festival.

Remember that film became the first documentary that told the story of Mustafa Dzhemilev, Ukrainian politician and public figure who embodies the struggle for survival, honor and dignity of the Crimean Tatars. Working process began in February 2015 and lasted one and half a year. Ukrainian premier was held on October 28, 2016 at the Kyiv International Film Festival "Molodist".



Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale) is the annual international film festival, which dates back to 1951 in Germany. The main prize is «Golden Bear» (bear is heraldic symbol of Berlin). Unlike the Cannes Film Festival, Berlinale headed for the progressive geopolitical cinema. The jury pays special attention to screen films from the whole world, including countries of former «Eastern Bloc».
