Today is the 14th day of the hunger-strike of Crimean Tatar human rights activist, defendant in the Yalta Hizb ut-Tahrir case Emir-Usein Kuku.

The people in the Crimea film videos with the words of solidarity with Emir-Usein Kuku, to express their support.

“Announcing a hunger-strike by a political prisoner is always a protest against the injustice and repressions against someone, or the nation as a whole. Emir-Usein Kuku is a political prisoner from the Crimea, who announced a hunger-strike. I am convinced that he is on a hunger-strike not for himself, but for all the unjustly convicted Muslims. Such people are never forgotten, the new history starts from them. I wish him, his family, and us patience on this way,”  member of the Crimean Solidarity Alimdar Bilialov said in his video-message.

“I know that he [Emir-Usein Kuku] has been on a hunger-strike for many days. Let God give him power to regain strength. I express my solidarity as he replenished everything in himself. He is on a hunger-strike for all our children. As a mother, I understand him. On the one hand, I am proud that we have such men, but on the other hand it is so sad that he wastes his health because of our curreent regime,”  said Rinat Paralamov’s mother Pakize Paralamova.
