THE UN REFUGEE AGENCY (UNHCR)
Formed in 1950 by the General Assembly of the United Nations. In Ukraine UNHCR has been operating since 1994.
Areas of activity: lobbying for the development of an effective system for the protection of refugees, internally displaced persons, stateless persons and legislation in accordance with international standards; ensuring the protection of all persons of concern of UNHCR, in particular,giving refugees a full and unimpeded access to territory and procedure of shelter provision and protection from refoulement; achieving durable solutions for refugees, including an increase in the possibility of resettlement in third countries, improving the conditions for local integration and assistance in voluntary return of refugees; protection of the right of shelter provision in the context of mixed migration movements; fight against statelessness, caused among other things, by the collapse of the Soviet Union; providing legal, material and social assistance to refugees, shelter seekers, internally displaced persons, stateless persons; training of government officials and non-governmental organizations; information activities aimed at strengthening the protection of refugees and the fight against racism and xenophobia.
MINISTRY OF SOCIAL POLICY
Formed in December 9, 2010 as an institution in the system of central executive bodies.
Areas of activity: employment and labor migration, employment, social protection, social services for the population; family and children, rehabilitation and recreation of children, as well as protection of the rights of deported persons on a national basis who returned to Ukraine; ensuring equal rights and opportunities for women and men, prevention of family violence and human trafficking; adoption and protection of children's rights; humanitarian aid.
THE STATE ENTERPRISE "CRIMEAN HOUSE"
Formed by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on May 16, 2014. The company is included in the scope of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine.
Areas of activity: the protection of the rights and freedoms of Ukrainian citizens including indigenous peoples and national minorities in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine, assistance to meet their political, informational, educational, scientific, national, cultural and spiritual needs.
RESOURCE CENTER ON ASSISTANCE TO INTERNALLY DISPLACED PERSONS
Formed in 2015. The center brings together the Secretariat of Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights, CrimeaSOS social initiative, Without Borders project, NGO "Center for Social Action", House of Friends initiative, Center for public enlightenment Almenda, Free People Employment Center, Right to Protection national charity fund, Rokada charity fund, Crimean diaspora NGO, NGO "Center for Civil Liberties", United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
Areas of activity: joint efforts of public initiatives and public authorities in solving the problems of internally displaced persons; cooperation with international organizations; meeting the humanitarian and legal needs of internally displaced persons; preparation of proposals to the regulatory framework and guidelines for developing and implementing long-term strategies to help internally displaced persons and their integration; ensuring the rights and freedoms of internally displaced persons and citizens of Ukraine who are in the occupied territories; analytical work.
HOUSE OF FREE PEOPLE
Formed in August 2015 and brings together CrimeaSOS, Vostok SOS, New Donbass and the Free People Employment Center to help internally displaced persons in the format of "single window".
Areas of activity: legal and psychological counseling, humanitarian assistance and professional advice on job search and job placement.
